US President Joe Biden also made the following statement regarding the vote: “Once again, fundamental rights were threatened in the Supreme Court, while Republicans in the Senate blocked the passage of the Women’s Health Protection Bill. This goes against the will of the majority of the American people.”

The document claims that the court will not recognize the ROE decision granting women the right to legal abortion.
