SANA: US military relocates 5 barrels of oil stolen from Syria to northern Iraq
MOSCOW, July 7 – RIA Novosti. The US military has relocated
5 tanks containing stolen oil from the territory of Syria’s Al-Haseke province to northern Iraq, the Syrian state agency SANA quoted a source as saying.
According to sources, 20 tanks containing stolen oil were illegally taken through the Al-Walid border post, 25 – through the Mahmudiya border post.
The US military illegally controls territories in the north and northeast of Syria in the provinces of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasek and Raqqa, which are home to the largest oil and gas fields in Syria. Officially, Damascus has repeatedly called the presence of American troops on its territory an act of government occupation and piracy aimed at completely stealing oil.
