The new transfer of the Spor Toto Super League team MKE Ankaragücü, the Spanish footballer Jese Rodriguez has arrived in Ankara. The footballer arrived at the General Aviation Terminal by private jet, greeted by club officials.
Giving a statement from the station, Jese Rodriguez said he will do his best for MKE Ankaragücü to succeed in the Super League.
Explaining how happy he was at the reception from the fans, Rodriguez said: “I hope I will return that interest. I will do my best for this team. A new team is a new environment. I want to adapt as soon as possible and contribute to my team,” he said.
Taking pictures with fans, Rodriguez then left the airport in a private car that was already waiting.
Starting his professional career at Real Madrid, where he grew as a teenager, Rodriguez played for Spain’s national youth teams from the age of 16 to 21.
Rodriguez, who has also played for Paris Saint-Germain, Stoke City, Real Betis and Sporting Lisbon clubs, runs the ball for Las Palmas, one of the teams in Spain’s second division.
